Kenny McGlashan

Chief Executive Officer

Joined Youth Theatre Arts Scotland: 2014

Kenny has 15 years' experience working as an actor, director, tutor and arts manager, with a background in youth theatre and children’s theatre. For the past nine years he has worked in management roles as Associate Director at Scottish Youth Theatre, Education Manager of Catherine Wheels Theatre Company and then Development Manager at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Olivia Ainsworth

Projects Administrator

Olivia has worked in arts administration and producing in a variety of contexts including art festivals, theatres and touring companies. She has assisted managing creative learning programmes in the Tricycle and Arcola Theatres in London as well as creating interactive events with a social focus at festivals in The Netherlands and the UK.

Helen Bain

Helen has 18 years' experience working in arts, charitable and educational environments in Scotland and overseas. She loves facilitating opportunities for people to engage in cultural activity and is a particular fan of interactive and site-specific theatre. Also an accredited coach, Helen is passionate about supporting and encouraging others to achieve their potential.

Clara Bloomfield

Creative Learning Manager

Clara is an award winning international freelance theatre maker, director and practitioner who specialises in creating socially-engaged performance in a range of contexts and settings. She has spent the past 14 years working extensively throughout Scotland creating work with and for nationally celebrated organisations including The National Theatre of Scotland, Puppet Animation Scotland and the Lyceum Theatre. Clara is the Creative Director for Collision and Lead Artist/Director for Tiny Fragments.

James Coutts

Communications and Marketing Manager

Raising the profile of the arts is second nature to James. He believes that arts communication campaigns should be contemporary, confident and artistically relevant. James also manages Opening Lines, who plan and implement campaigns for clients including Rapture Theatre and Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival.

Andy Catlin

Marketing Coordinator

Andy Catlin is a freelance photographer and communications/marketing consultant whose recent clients include University of Edinburgh's Music in the Community, National Galleries of Scotland, Jelly & Gin, Got Soul Choir and the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling. He previously worked as Marketing Manager at Edinburgh’s The Queen’s Hall and Traverse Theatre and Aberdeen’s The Lemon Tree.

Vikki has worked as a performer, director, teacher and creative project producer in Australia and Scotland for over 10 years. She is passionate about mentoring and supporting practitioners and artists to get the best out of their practice.
