The Changing Landscape of Creative Learning in Education

This event, delivered by Creative Scotland’s Creative Learning team will explore the role of the arts and creative learning within formal education, specifically looking at the attainment agenda and pupil equity.

The event will include a key note by Sue Ellis, Professor of Education, Strathclyde University; a panel of speakers from Creative Learning Networks and artists working in schools and a series of case studies where schools and arts organisations who will share their approach and learning. Case studies include: Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop; St Albert’s Primary and Tramway; Gayle Martin, Education Support Officer, Falkirk Council; Edinburgh International Festival and City of Edinburgh Council; Hidden Giants.

The event takes place on Tue 17 April 2018 (10am – 4pm) at COSLA Conference Centre, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh, EH12 5BH.
