Join Australian-based theatre makers, Claire Glenn and Anthony Kelly, for an afternoon of play, experimentation and imagination. Taking place in a secret location in Edinburgh, the session will challenge the traditional set-up and role of the audience and give you the chance to explore how to bring unusual and disused spaces in your community to life through site-specific and immersive theatre.

Claire and Anthony are specialists in making theatre for and with young people with a focus on Immersive Theatre. Working alongside young people, they have created a zombie apocalypse, an alien invasion, a house sized representation of a teenager’s mind and taken people into the world of an Australian Mary Poppins. A relevant and exciting artform, immersive theatre can be a unique way to engage communities, reinventing familiar spaces and inviting audiences to see the potential for creativity in the world around them.

Don’t miss this opportunity to spend some time with some refreshing new faces, creating dynamic and interesting work on the other side of the world.
