Stir It Up Twilight Sessions – Creative Practitioners Gathering – North East
Are you a creative or community practitioner working with young people in and around Dundee and Angus?
As part of our Stir It Up Twilight Sessions, Youth Theatre Arts Scotland and Dundee Rep Theatre are excited to invite you to attend our first Creative Practitioners Gathering in the north-east – an opportunity for networking, learning, nourishment and lively discussion about the work you are doing with your young people. Participation in this event will include tickets to Dundee Rep Ensemble’s thrilling production of Deathtrap.
The event will also provide a space for tackling and discussing common challenges, identifying any areas for professional development, exploring possible collaborations and working together to decide what is next for the youth arts sector in Scotland’s North East.
When: Tuesday 27 February 2018
Where: Dundee Rep Theatre, Tay Square, Dundee, DD1 2PB
Schedule: 5pm – 7pm: Creative Conversation and Skill Share*
7.30pm: Death Trap
*As we are keen for this event to be sector led (and to offer a platform for you to show off the brilliant work you do), we would love to hear from any practitioners who would be willing to share their creative skills. So if you’ve got a particular skill to offer, whether it’s writing, physical theatre, impro, puppetry, design, devising, site-specific work or even technical theatre, we’d love to hear from you!
Bookings: This event is free, but ticketed. To reserve your place, or for more information, email vikki@ytas.org.uk or phone 0131 538 0591.
We look forward to seeing you in Dundee!
