Membership fees suspension extended

At the start of April we announced the suspension of all YTAS membership fees due for renewal for an initial period of three months. We’re now approaching the end of this period, and are pleased to let you know that we’ve decided to extend this offer until the end of September. We hope this will continue to limit any additional financial pressure on our members during a period of significant challenge for our sector and our society.

Another challenge for the sector is knowing what our sessions will look like as the country transitions out of lockdown. As you may also be aware, we’ve established a new Sector Recovery Working Group to identify what is needed by youth theatres across Scotland to deliver activities in line with Government guidelines. Additional voices will always be welcome, so read more and get in touch if you’re interested in contributing.

We’re still doing our best to collate the most relevant and useful information on the ongoing situation on the COVID-19 Resource Page on our website. Please do get in touch if you see something that you think we should be including so we can share it with the whole sector. Remember, this page is being updated all the time, so keep checking back for more interesting things to read.

Our resources and training will remain free during this difficult time, but if you are in a position to contribute to helping our work, donations are gratefully received.
