At the Root Theatre is committed to creating opportunities for children, young people and adults to engage and re-engage with creative activities in their local area. What started small, with a group of four young people meeting regularly on a Monday evening in Bathgate, has grown over the past seven years into an arts organisation that runs workshops and projects throughout West Lothian. They create opportunities for children, young people and adults to participate in weekly creative activities including drama workshops. Their ethos is to facilitate creative, joyful and social spaces for participants to fully be themselves, build confidence and develop skills.
